While sitting and having my coffee this morning, I looked out the bay window and a cluster of pink smiled out back. It was the first blooming of the Rhododendron that I planted seven years ago. I couldn't believe my eyes and wondered if the girl might have left a pink doll dress laying on the branch? I had waited so long for it to bloom and thought it may never happen. I made my way out back closer to the bush and just when I thought it would never happen.
My dad lives in the Mountains near the Roan and he insisted my visit to "The Roan", a must. It was amazing to share such beauty with a man who had not been there for me through my youth. I have found him to be a man that enjoys the most simple things of life, a man who appreciates the tiniest of wonders. The smell of the morning Roan is forever pressed into my mind, a place where I walked amoung the clouds, a true glipse of heaven. Funny how a cluster of pink blooms out my back door can bring joy in my heart and a glassing of my eyes.

Blooming Beauty
This past winter, the girl and I decided to plant Tulips. We both were so excited to see them peek through the cool spring soil.
