"Go With the Spirit"

Coconut macaroons, bottled drinks and gas station attendants who cleaned windshields, pumped customer's gas and checked their oil. Fragments flash in my mind.

Kerr Lake NC

Three sailboats drifted until they blended into the distant tree line and I could no longer make out where or what they were.

Rollin The Hay

I positioned my camera down upon a fence post, ran as hard as I could then hurdled myself atop of the hay roll and was more than pleased to sit a spell.

Picnic Calling

A periwinkle cotton sun dress edged in lace is what to wear and in the basket are freshly baked scones, Davonshire cream and neatly sliced cucumber sandwiches. A quart Ball jar holds sweet raspberry tea and adorns a fresh sprig of mint tied by a strand of raffia.

Pure Water

I just read that this little fly is the symbol of pure water to the Novajo people. I found this to be interesting considering we found him alive and floating around in our lab's water bowl. I'm guessing he was too wet to be airborne. It wasn't very long before he buzzed up and away.
